Just as everyone suspected, I have passed my exams and am now a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner. What does that mean? Well on many different levels it could mean a lot to a person who is suffering from illnesses such as, arthritis, sport injuries and performance, emotional disorders, digestive disorders, chronic fatigue, and viruses to name a few. Every time I have the pleasure of attending a workshop for BodyTalk, I am amazed at the life changing stories from real people who have experienced this integrative Health Care System. To give you an idea as to the real power of the BodyTalk System, my Instructor Andrea Carter, told us of a 14-year old boy who suffered from Arthritis. The young boy described his arthritis as “stabbing pains” throughout his body. During the “tap out” of his session, the boy turned to his mother and told her that Andrea “was taking the knives away!”
While BodyTalk does not diagnose or treat specific ailments, clinical experience has shown that, once a person’s overall system is balanced, clients exhibit significant improvement in different areas. When BodyTalk is not needed and another Health Modality is required, the clients innate will tell you. BodyTalk really does take the guess work out of a doctor’s visit!
Yours in Health, Angela
The Divine Matrix - Bridging Time, Space, Miracles, and Belief I have been engrossed in this book called the Divine Matrix. I have found that I have been intrigued about the word Matrix long before I attended a workshop on Matrix Energetics. In conversations with other ‘energy healers’, we end up listing off different research studies that are continually proving what we see is not all that there is. Gregg Braden does a fantastic job of bringing actual research studies to light and then going beyond what we know to physically exist! Its truly amazing to see that even before the 20th century, famous scientists, also wondered the same thing. What is called the Divine Matrix in Gregg Braden’s book is also known as the “unified energy field”.
On page 98 and 99 Gregg Braden talks about the holographic image. The first time we saw a holographic image in any real form was the Star Wars movie. Gregg goes into great detail talking about R2–D2 creating the holographic image of Princess Leia. Gregg Braden then adds that there have been actual incidents of people bilocating and creating a holographic image of themselves. The two cases in point were Maria de Agreda, a nun who lived for 46 years in a convent in Agreda Spain, and Padre Pio during World War II. Gregg adds “when we experience something that appears to happen beyond the realm of what we know to be true, we often credit it as a miracle.”1 I have found that most people know that there is something else out there. On one end you are living day to day in the moment of an experience. However, when you take yourself out of that moment and look back at what has evolved from that moment, you know that there always seems to be a divine plan that was working without you being aware of it.
“..if we can find that we can follow in the “footsteps” of quantum particles that operate beyond the boundaries of space and time, then we can certainly use our ability to heal our bodies and bring joy to our lives. The key is this: To do what seems to be impossible, one person first has to push the limits of what we previously thought to be true. Just as the initiates discovered that they were more than they’d formerly believed once they moved beyond their fear of “the edge,” in order to live miracles in our lives, we must first overcome our beliefs that such phenomena are impossible.” 2
My parents met me in Port Hope at a friends place for a group meditation. A friend experienced in leading meditations took us to a beautiful water fountain. While sitting there, she told us to watch the people come and go. Beyond the fountain I saw people walking past but then this one person stopped and looked at me! It was my grandmother! I left the bench at the fountain and went to her. I could smell her, and when she hugged me, I could feel the softness of her skin against my cheek. She talked to me in the Welsh accent that only my grandmother had. When my experience ended, and the group went round and talked about their travels, I couldn’t stop crying. Driving home my mother said to me “I know you left with my mother. I know you did because I was sitting next to you at the fountain and I watched you leave with her”. What I realized is that from that point on, I knew there was more to what I saw everyday. In that one moment, my mother affirmed to me, that this was not all there was.
Gregg Braden talks about a Health Center in Beijing China that uses non traditional methods of treatment with tremendous success. During a workshop that Gregg attended, the instructor (one of the practitioners at this clinic) showed a film of a woman who was diagnosed with a terminal tumor.
“The film was short, lasting less than four minutes. Within that time span, we all saw something that’s considered a miracle by the standards of Western medicine. Yet within the holographic context of the Divine Matrix, it’s something that makes perfect sense. The practitioners had agreed upon a word that would reinforce for them a special quality of feeling inside their bodies. Reminding us of Neville’s instruction to “make your future dream a present fact…by assuming the feeling of your wish fulfilled” the practitioner’s emotion was simply one of the woman already healed. Although they knew that the tumor had existed in the moments leading up to the process, they also acknowledged that its presence was only one possibility out of the many that exist. On that day, they enacted the code that calls for another possibility. And they did so in the language that the Matrix recognizes and responds to-that of human emotion directing energy. Watching the practitioner’s, we heard them repeat the words of a mantra of sorts, which loosely translates into the English words, “already done, already done.” At first it seemed that nothing was happening. Suddenly, the tumor began to quiver in and out of view, as if it were teetering between realities. The room was absolutely silent as we watched the screen in awe. Within seconds, it faded and then completely vanished from the screen…it was gone. Everything else was there, just as it had been seconds before –everything, that is, except the tumor that had threatened the woman’s life.”3 I recall a conversation with an old work colleague that said Western medicine was how he advocated a person’s determination to live. I wonder after reading this, what he might say. My journey in BodyTalk has shown me that there is a place for all types of healing modalities. As Gregg Braden so eloquently puts it
“Knowing that everything from the most horrible suffering to the most joyous ecstasy – and all the possibilities in between – already exist, we find that it makes perfect sense that we have the power to collapse the intervening space and bring those possibilities into our lives. And we do…through the silent language of imagination, dreams and belief.” 4
New Finds! I am always on the look out for new and interesting things to try. I love expanding the kids horizons with food because like most parents, I want them to enjoy a lifetime of variety. I recall when my daughter brought a friend home for the weekend, she told her that she regularly drank rice milk and loved it!
I picked up an insert to the paper one weekend and was intrigued about this product called Gochi Juice. Since part of my Wellness Business is nutrition, I decided to “surf” this product and find out more about it since what I read I actually liked. Over 79 studies have been published on Pub Med on Lycium Barbarum (also known as goji). I can go into many details on the benefits of GoChi Juice but if you are interested, you can click on the links below. I have personally noticed that my quality of sleep is better and I am not feeling tired throughout the day. Goji contains:
- 11 essential and 22 trace minerals including calcium, selenium, zinc, iron, potassium
- Amino Acids
- Vitamins including Vitamin C, B2
- 8 polysaccharides and 6 monosaccharides
- Essential fatty acids including linoleic acid and alpha linolenic acid (only berry source with omega 3’s)
- Phytosterols including betasitosterol (important in aiding the immune system) and
- Beta-carotene, zeaxanthin, lutein, lycopene, beta-cryptoxanthin, and xanthophylls
A double Blind Placebo-Controlled Clinical Study was conducted on Lycium Barbarum (Goji) Juice, GoChi. Results showed that consumption of GoChi for 14 days increases subjective feelings of general well-being, neurologic/psychological traits, and gastrointestinal functions.5 For more information check out the following link: http://angelaforwellness.freelife.com

Cortices and Stress Most people don’t realize that when Cortices comes up as a priority, it is balancing the left and right cortices of the brain. However this isn’t all the Cortices is known for. One of the key releases of the Cortices is stress. Most clients come back and say that after their session, they had no energy and end up falling asleep on the couch. This isn’t unusual but what is happening is that the stress in the body is actually being released. Because stress is an everyday occurrence, the body doesn’t remember what it feels like to not have stress and when it is released, it feels like we are wiped of energy. Usually after a session, a client will end up having a good night sleep. If you would like to experience how your body feels with little or less stress, book online for a session. You’ll be amazed just how good you feel.
